Problem with your proton persona air cond system?sometimes after running almost 9000km, persona air-conditioner blower system become slow. It was cold but the blower just like 1/4 turning on even we set it up to half button.
Actually there is no problem with your aircond system but the blower filter itself got stuck. Pictures below will show you how to clean your aircond blower system by yourself.
Step by Step how to clean your Proton Persona Air Conditioner blower Filter
1. Look at below the dashboard. Push and open the blower filter panel.
2. Take out the filter and clean it. You can wash the filter and dry it quickly.
3. This is how the clean blower filter look like. Put back the filter into the blower carefully.
Very easy and can save your money and your time by visiting service center just want to clean your blower filter. Good Luck!

Question, exactly which part of the dashboard that I need to look for? I tried to look behind the clove compartment and didn't find anything that look like the pics posted.

I'm from Indonesia. I just bought a 2008 proton Gen2 Persona (that's what i's called here) with 12K ++ on the trip meter which was suffering from the same problem. Neither the previous owner nor the authorised workshop in Bandung know what to do with it. Untill I read your post.

p.s : to bro kwan, try look UNDER the LEFT side of the dash (you need to get below the dash and look upward). It's not inside the glove compartment). Good luck.

Thanks, I found it..it's below the passenger side dash board. But model (Personal H-Line )filter looks different from the one shown in the blog.
Aircond is back to normal again :)

I never realized it's that simple, my father keep telling me Proton aircond never got such serious problem and I doubted him...
The aircond now works like leaf blower at the lowest setting! cool!
